Golspec Builds AI to Match Golfers With the Right Clubs
What happened
Golspec, founded in July by former Ping distributor employee Lee Jun-hee, uses AI to recommend golf clubs based on swing data including height, weight, driving distance, and swing tempo. The company launched a website using hosting from Cafe24, allowing individual users to try the AI recommendation system without visiting a brick-and-mortar store. Lee told The Seoul Economic Daily that testing every club in every category in person required more time than most golfers had.
Why it matters
