Bryson DeChambeau and investors paid an eight-figure sum in April to acquire Sportsbox AI. The company 3D Golf app records a user swing on any smartphone camera and renders a motion-capture avatar for instant biomechanical review.

Students learn that off-the-shelf phone video plus a lightweight model can replace expensive lab capture. This shifts the workflow from booking sessions to recording, uploading, and iterating daily.
