Golf swing analysis now runs on deep learning models that track 30 body points in real time.

Bryson DeChambeau uses Google Cloud computer vision to map more than 30 keypoints on body, club, and ball with 2D and 3D models. The system records swing phases including top of backswing, impact, follow-through, and finish. Outcome data such as launch angle and ball speed are paired with the pose data for immediate feedback.

Athletes can replace subjective video review with quantitative pose estimation. The workflow shifts from post-round film study to live kinematic scoring on every shot. This changes practice from feel-based repetition to data-driven micro-adjustments.

Bryson DeChambeau partnered with Google Cloud to test the system on the PGA Tour. Early sessions produced measurable changes in club path consistency within a single range session.
